Laura Ray, Director of Research

Laura Ray is the Director of Research for R.I.C. Executive Search. She is responsible for developing the search strategy to identify and attract the top industry talent for each of our clients. Laura and her team lead their efforts from R.I.C.'s Chicago office.

Prior to joining R.I.C. Executive Search in 2000, Laura spent seven years as the Principal of Ray Research Associates, where she lead research and candidate development services for a variety of retained search firms and FORTUNE 500 companies. Her expertise in attracting executive talent led her to candidate development assignments ranging from the Director level to the C-Suite.

Laura spent five years working in retained search with two boutique firms in Chicago as a Consultant and later Director of Research before opening her own research firm. She began her career in the management training program for Allstate Insurance’s Property and Casualty Division in Chicago.

Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois, Champaign. She and her husband reside in suburban Chicago.
